Iowa farmers are left scrambling to plan for harvest of damaged crop after a derecho battered fields and destroyed storage capacity earlier this week.

More than 13.7 million acres of corn and soybeans in Iowa were in the path of Monday's derecho, according to estimates by Gro Intelligence. While that throws a wildcard into that state's yield projections, beneficial weather in Minnesota and Wisconsin has those states on a path to set new records.
